The 3.5 inch Mini-Dawg can be fished in many different ways. This lure sits higher in the water column and has a very erratic gliding, darting, or fleeing action that entices fish who are looking up from the bottom to eat. Great for any kind of shallow water fishing applications or when those fish are feeding up towards the surface. Fish it fast, fish it slow, throw it on top of grass mats/lilly pads for explosive blow ups. Similar to the full size Hot Dawg this bait produces a different action depending on what hook you are using. There is a handful of hooks that fit this bait perfectly: 4/0 Owner Beast, 5/0 Gamakatsu EWG, or even the 5/0 Owner Flashy Swimmer.
